About the Program

The Quest for Gold Program provides direct financial support to eligible athletes through the Ontario Athlete Assistance Program.

Funding helps athletes offset training and competition costs while supporting their continued development toward national and international success.

Eligibility

Athletes must:

  • Be between 12 and 22 years of age.
  • Be registered with Dive Ontario.
  • Compete in at least one Ontario Provincial Championship.
  • Not receive Sport Canada carding support.
  • Meet all criteria established by the Dive Ontario Technical Committee.

Selection Process

Athletes are ranked using three equally weighted components:

  • Component 1
    Best Open Event Result at Provincials.
  • Component 2
    Best Performance at Nationals.
  • Component 3
    Best International Performance Representing Canada.

The top-ranked athletes receive funding.
