George A. Tinnerman Award

About the Award

Named in honour of George A. Tinnerman, this award recognizes an athlete who exemplifies the values of sportsmanship, integrity, respect, perseverance, and positive citizenship.

The award celebrates athletes who lead by example both in and out of competition.

Eligibility

• One athlete may be nominated per club.
• Nominees must compete in Group A or Group B.

Selection Criteria

Nominees should demonstrate:

• Sportsmanship
  Maintains integrity, fairness, and respect in all situations.
• Leadership
  Supports teammates and serves as a positive role model.
• Respect
  Demonstrates respect toward coaches, teammates, competitors, officials, and volunteers.
• Commitment
  Displays dedication, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
• Inclusion
  Promotes kindness, encouragement, and a welcoming environment for all athletes.

Nomination Process

Clubs are invited to submit a nomination of 500 words or less describing how their nominee embodies the values of the award.
