Team Ontario Elite
Recognizing Ontario’s top Age Group A and B athletes.
About Team Ontario Elite
Team Ontario Elite identifies and supports the province’s highest-performing Age Group A and B divers based on competitive performance at the provincial and national level.
Selection to Team Ontario Elite reflects an athlete’s commitment, competitive success, and future high-performance potential.
Criteria can be found in the Awards section of the Technical Regulations.
Eligibility
Athletes must:
- Be registered as a competitive diver in Ontario.
- Compete in at least one Ontario Provincial Championship.
- Qualify for and compete at Junior Elite Nationals.
- Rank among the top eligible athletes based on performance standards.
Selection Process
Athletes are ranked according to their highest percentage of the published International Standard Score achieved at:
- Ontario Provincial Championships; or
- National Championships.
The top-ranked athletes are named to Team Ontario Elite.

Team Ontario Junior Development
Recognizing Ontario’s rising generation of competitive divers.
About the Program
Team Ontario Junior Development identifies and supports promising young athletes in the C and D age groups who demonstrate strong performance potential and commitment to the sport.
The program serves as an important step in the athlete development pathway toward provincial, national, and international success.
Criteria can be found in the Awards section of the Technical Regulations.
Eligibility
Athletes must:
- Be registered as a competitive diver in Ontario.
- Compete in at least one Ontario Provincial Championship.
- Qualify for and compete at Junior Development Nationals.
- Rank among the top eligible athletes.
Selection Process
Athletes are ranked according to their highest percentage of the International Standard Score achieved during Ontario Provincial Championships or National Championships.
The top-ranked athletes are selected to Team Ontario Junior Development.

Aspire Team Ontario
Recognizing Ontario’s emerging athletes and supporting their progression through the competitive pathway.
About Aspire Team Ontario
Aspire Team Ontario recognizes young athletes who have demonstrated strong performances at the provincial level and are showing the potential for future success within Ontario’s athlete development pathway.
The program is designed to identify and celebrate athletes who consistently perform across multiple events while meeting established performance standards.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for Aspire Team Ontario, athletes must:
- Be a registered competitive diver in Ontario.
- Compete in all three events at the Ontario Aspire Provincial Championship.
- Achieve the Standard Point Score in at least two events.
- Meet all eligibility requirements established by Dive Ontario.
Note: This program does not apply to E Age Group athletes.
Selection Process
Athletes who meet the eligibility requirements will be ranked according to their single highest percentage achieved above the Standard Point Score.
Team Selection
- A maximum of 10 athletes will be named to Aspire Team Ontario annually.
- Rankings are based on performance results achieved at the Ontario Aspire Provincial Championship.
- Selection is intended to recognize athletes demonstrating strong technical development and competitive readiness.
