Dive Ontario’s Board of Directors is a diverse group of individuals with a wealth of experience in diving. From parents and former divers to coaches, our Board can provide insights from diverse perspectives when dealing with board-related issues. Each position is held for two years and elections are held at the Annual General Meeting.
Michael began diving as a Masters diving is part of a broader goal: to ensure diving in Ontario continues to grow and thrive across all ages, from grassroots participation to high-performance and lifelong engagement. Michael is passionate about fostering an inclusive, well-connected diving community that supports athletes, coaches, officials, and clubs province-wide. With a professional background in business operations, financial oversight, and event technology, Michael offers practical expertise in governance best practices, stakeholder engagement, logistics, and financial decision-making. He is committed to helping Dive Ontario remain athlete-centred, financially responsible, and well positioned for long-term success.
Jessica is a forward‑thinking, data‑driven leader passionate about unlocking human potential. With a strong foundation in mathematics and psychology, she bridges analytics and empathy to drive transformational growth. Her expertise spans strategic planning, project management, risk assessment, policy development, and process optimization—skills that make her a valuable asset to Dive Ontario’s leadership team. Jessica first joined the Dive Ontario Board of Directors on the Governance Committee, where she contributed to strengthening organizational frameworks and ensuring effective oversight. She now serves as Vice President, Finance, bringing proven financial acumen, governance experience, and a track record of streamlining operations to support sustainability and long‑term growth. She thrives at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and human behavior, helping organizations achieve measurable success. While not a diver herself, Jessica grew up competing in tennis and running, experiences that shaped her appreciation for discipline, performance, and teamwork. Today, she is actively involved in youth baseball and hockey, contributing to team management and statistical analysis. Her connection to diving is personal—her son is an active diver, inspiring her commitment to supporting the sport’s growth and fostering a strong, inclusive community. Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys music, languages, and youth sports, reflecting her dedication to both performance and personal development.
Ian Kerr is a highly strategic and ethical leader dedicated to strengthening the governance and securing the future of diving in Ontario. He brings over 15 years of high-level strategic governance experience, directing complex public programs and managing multi-million-dollar budgets. As a committed advocate for competitive sport and a lifelong competitor, Ian continues to play soccer, compete in Spartan races and recently completed his first marathon. He has three active boys, one in diving and two others in club and varsity sports. Ian previously served as a Director with the Forest City Diving Club (FCDC) for over 8 years and is a coach for the TFC Academy for the last 6 years. Ian’s unique background has provided a keen understanding of group dynamics, conflict resolution, and the pivotal role of strong, ethical leadership. Ian's core expertise lies in building and empowering leaders and teams, and he is adept at establishing accountability frameworks, leading organizational change, and mitigating risk. He has expertise in spearheading organizational change and resolving systemic issues through innovative, collaborative problem-solving, and he is adept at building consensus among diverse stakeholders and maximizing program through regional and vertical collaboration. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western University and has completed advanced training in Executive Leadership at the Ivey Business School, Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in addition to certificates in therapy and mediation.
Chantelle Henry is a lifelong athlete, community advocate, and dedicated parent of a competitive diver with the Windsor Diving Club. Having been immersed in sport from an early age, Chantelle’s athletic journey includes gymnastics, competitive running with the Windsor Legion Track & Field Club during her teenage years, and maintaining an active lifestyle as an avid runner to this day. Her lifelong involvement in athletics has instilled a deep appreciation for discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and athlete development.
Chantelle brings over 20 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds across client-facing, operational, educational, and administrative environments. She is highly skilled in organization, communication, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement, and is known for her ability to build strong relationships, lead with integrity, and support collaborative environments.
Her educational background includes studies in adult education, human resources, leadership, and management, providing a strong foundation in organizational development, people leadership, workforce support, and continuous learning.
Deeply committed to community service and volunteerism, Chantelle believes in giving back and strengthening programs that support youth development and athletic excellence. As a passionate supporter of the sport of diving, she understands the importance of strong governance, safe sport practices, effective communication, and well-run operations in creating positive experiences for athletes and families.
With a strong blend of operational insight, administrative expertise, educational training, and a genuine passion for sport, Chantelle is well positioned to contribute meaningfully in a leadership or support role that advances organizational excellence and athlete success.
Arthur MacMaster brings over a decade of professional experience in accounts management and administrative operations, along with a strong commitment to sport governance and community involvement. His background in financial coordination and organizational support provides a practical, detail-oriented perspective to board service and leadership.
Arthur has spent more than ten years working as an Accounts Manager and Administration Assistant with Winmar Property Restoration and Inspired Cabinetry and Renovations, where he has supported daily operations, managed financial and administrative processes, and contributed to efficient, well-organized business practices.
His involvement in the sport of diving began in 2019 as a parent, fostering a deep appreciation for the discipline and community the sport provides. In 2022, Arthur joined the Board of Directors, later serving a two-year term as President of the Board. During this time, he provided strategic leadership and supported key governance initiatives. He continues to serve actively as a Director, contributing his experience and institutional knowledge.
Arthur is dedicated to supporting the sustainable growth and effective management of the organization. He values collaboration, transparency, and long-term planning, and is committed to creating a positive environment for athletes, families, and the broader diving community.
With more than 30 years of coaching experience, Anna Dacyshyn has dedicated her career to developing divers at every stage of the sport, from first-time participants to Senior International athletes. As Head Coach of CDI Toronto and the Toronto Diving Academy, Anna has built a reputation as one of Canada's most respected diving coaches, having trained and developed Senior National medalists as well as numerous Junior National Champions and medalists.
Anna has represented Canada on the international stage as a member of Team Canada's coaching staff at multiple major events, including the Junior Pan American Games (2009, 2023) and Junior World Championships (2010, 2022). Her commitment to athlete development and coaching excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including Diving Plongeon Canada's Junior Coach of the Year Award (2022) and Dive Ontario's National Coach Award (2022, 2023). She also served as a coach for Team Ontario at the Canada Games in 2013 and 2022.
Beyond her coaching achievements, Anna has been a long-time contributor to the growth and success of diving in Ontario through her leadership with Dive Ontario. She has served for several years on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Sport Performance and has spent countless years supporting the sport through the Sport Performance Committee.
Anna's academic and professional credentials reflect her commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in coaching. She holds a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Sport Psychology, both from the University of Toronto. She has also earned the prestigious Advanced Coaching Diploma (Canadian Sport Institute Ontario) and is Competition Development Certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
Before becoming one of Canada's leading coaches, Anna enjoyed an outstanding competitive diving career. A six-time Senior National Champion on 10m Platform, she captured Commonwealth Games Gold in 1990, was a World Cup finalist in 1991, and competed as a finalist at the 1991 FINA World Aquatics Championships. Her accomplishments also include a Junior World Championship Silver Medal and three Junior National Championship titles.
When she is not on the pool deck, Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active outdoors, bringing the same passion and energy to life that she has dedicated to the sport of diving for decades.
