Recognizing Ontario’s top-performing divers across Open and Age Group categories.
About the Award
The Outstanding Diver Awards recognize exceptional athletic achievement and competitive excellence among Ontario divers. Presented annually at the Dive Ontario Awards Night, these awards honour athletes who have demonstrated outstanding performances at the provincial, national, and international levels.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Award recipients are determined using results from Ontario Provincial Championships, National Championships, and international performance standards as outlined in the Dive Ontario Technical Policies.

Outstanding Aspire Diver Award
Recognizing excellence across all diving disciplines at the Aspire Provincial Championship.
About the Award
The Outstanding Aspire Diver Award celebrates the top-performing athletes at the Ontario Aspire Provincial Championship. This award recognizes divers who demonstrate excellence across all three diving events and achieve the highest overall level of performance within their age group.
By rewarding consistent results across multiple disciplines, the award highlights well-rounded athletes who showcase strong technical skills, versatility, and competitive excellence.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Outstanding Aspire Diver Award, athletes must:
- Be registered and competing in the applicable Aspire age group.
- Compete in all 3 events at the Ontario Aspire Provincial Championship
Award Categories
- Girls A (16-18)
- Boys A (16-18)
- Girls B (14-15)
- Boys B (14-15)
- Girls C (12-13)
- Boys C (12-13)
- Girls D (11 & Under)
- Boys D (11 & Under)
Selection Criteria
The recipient in each age group category is determined by combining the athlete’s total point scores from all three events:
- 1 Metre
- 3 Metre
- Platform
The diver who accumulates the highest combined point total across these events will be named the Outstanding Aspire Diver for their category.
Award Recognition
Outstanding Aspire Diver Awards are presented to the highest-scoring eligible athlete in each Aspire category, recognizing outstanding achievement and all-around performance at the Ontario Aspire Provincial Championship.

Outstanding Coach of the Year
Recognizing coaching leadership, athlete development, and competitive excellence.
About the Award
The Outstanding Coach of the Year Award recognizes the coach whose athletes have demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the season.
This award celebrates coaches who inspire excellence, foster athlete growth, and contribute significantly to the success of diving in Ontario.
Criteria can be found in the Awards section of the Technical Regulations.
Selection Criteria
- Coaches accumulate points based on athletes earning Outstanding Diver Awards.
- Each Outstanding Diver recipient earns one point for their coach.
- Points are accumulated across the season.
- The coach with the highest total is named Coach of the Year.
- In the event of a tie, all tied coaches will receive recognition.
