Letter from the Nominations Committee
The Dive Ontario Board is seeking interested candidates for its Board of Directors.
Dear Dive Ontario Members,
We will have Dive Ontario Board of Directors seats up for election at the 2023 AGM, to be held via Zoom on Nov. 29, 2023. All Director positions on the Board are for a two-year term.
The Directors are no longer elected to specific roles. With the 2023 changes adopted to our Dive Ontario By-Laws, members will elect Directors to the Board, the Board will then determine its Officers, and the President will appoint committee chairs. Please read more about this process in the Dive Ontario By-Laws.
Dive Ontario is looking for dedicated individuals with an interest in helping to steward our Provincial Sport Organization to join us. Specifically, we are seeking candidates with legal, marketing & communications, or governance expertise. Directors will be expected to attend Board Meetings (approx. 6 per year) as well as serve on committees as appointed for the overall governance of the sport.
If you, or any of your club members, have an interest, we kindly ask that you submit an application form no later than Tuesday, November 14, 2023 to executivedirector@diveontario.com .

Dive Ontario, like other provincial sport organizations, is highly dependent on its volunteer base: from assisting in competitions to participation on committees. We are asking for your support in sharing information with your club membership to remind them of the need for volunteers in our sport including the current opportunity with the Board of Dive Ontario.
