Etobicoke Ontario Summer Provincials 2026

Alexa Fung and Emmitt Reesor etched their names into the Dive Ontario record book once again, setting new Open provincial records in the Women’s 1m and Men’s 3m events. Fung scored 265.85 points to surpass Faith Zacharias’ 2019 mark, while Reesor’s dominant 411.95-point performance broke Victor Povzner’s six-year-old provincial standard. Both athletes continue a tradition of excellence, having previously established numerous age-group records throughout their diving careers.

The 2026 Ontario Summer Provincials in Etobicoke showcased the depth of talent across the province, with strong performances from established powerhouses and emerging clubs alike.

Girls A

The senior girls division featured one of the deepest fields of the competition. KWDC’s Lauren Barlock captured silver on 1m while ONDC’s Julia Read finished third. Forest City’s Daria Chambers dominated the 3m event and added silver on platform. Windsor’s Ava Roffel earned top-5 finishes on platform and top-10 results across all events, highlighting Windsor’s growing presence at the senior level.

Girls B

CAMO’s Élodie Couture swept all three events, winning 1m, 3m and platform. Windsor’s Charlee Ramirez was the standout Ontario club diver behind Couture, earning silver on 3m, bronze on 1m and bronze on platform. KWDC’s Eloise Smith added fourth-place finishes on both 3m and platform.

Girls C

Forest City’s Margaret Jeon was the dominant athlete, winning both springboard events and placing second on platform. Windsor had an excellent showing led by Avery Cowan, who earned silver on 1m, bronze on 3m and silver on platform in the C2 category. Windsor also placed multiple athletes in the top ten, including Kallie Mack, Kinsley Costie, Sophia Bergeron and Anderson Adams.

Girls D

Windsor Diving Club owned this division. Eleanor Johannson won platform and took silver on both springboards, while Emma Adams captured the 3m title and added a silver medal on platform. Windsor athletes occupied six of the top ten positions on platform and demonstrated exceptional depth throughout the youngest girls’ category.

Boys A

Québec athletes claimed the top spots, but among Ontario clubs Forest City’s Simon Lepage consistently finished near the podium on both springboards. Etobicoke’s Matteo Rozzi earned strong top-four finishes, while the division demonstrated a high level of technical difficulty across the board.

Boys B

Forest City’s Rowan Kerr emerged as the class of the field, winning both 3m and platform while adding bronze on 1m. TDA’s Edward Haluschak won the 1m title and finished runner-up on both 3m and platform, giving TDA a strong medal haul in the category.

Boys C

CAMO’s Liam Fetto swept all three events and was one of the most dominant divers of the weekend. TDA’s Lucas Harris collected silver medals on both springboards and won all three C1 events, demonstrating tremendous consistency throughout the meet.

Boys D

ARO’s Liam Pomerleau was unbeaten, winning all three events. TBDC’s Oliver Luxton collected multiple silver and bronze medals, while TDA’s Zev Castellano earned a podium finish on 1m.

Open Events

Women’s Open

TDA’s Alexa Fung captured the Women’s Open 1m title with 265.85 points and followed it with a silver medal on 3m with 255.55 points. KWDC’s Adele Melamud won the 3m event while Forest City’s Daria Chambers claimed platform gold. Windsor’s Jocelyn Casey earned sixth-place finishes on both springboards.

Men’s Open

The performance of the meet came from TDA’s Emmitt Reesor, who won the Men’s Open 3m event with an outstanding 411.95 points, more than 95 points ahead of the runner-up. Forest City’s Nigel Chambers won the platform event, while Gatineau’s Nicolas Bondy captured the 1m title.

Club Highlights

Windsor Diving Club

Windsor enjoyed one of its strongest provincial championships in recent years:

  • Multiple medals in Girls D through Eleanor Johannson and Emma Adams.
  • Avery Cowan medalled in all three Girls C2 events.
  • Charlee Ramirez earned medals in all three Girls B disciplines.
  • Ava Roffel posted top-five results in Girls A platform.
  • Strong participation and finals appearances throughout the age groups.

TDA

TDA was led by:

  • Alexa Fung’s Women’s Open 1m championship.
  • Emmitt Reesor’s dominant Men’s Open 3m victory.
  • Edward Haluschak’s Boys B 1m title.
  • Lucas Harris’ Boys C and C1 successes.

Forest City

Forest City produced several champions including Daria Chambers, Margaret Jeon and Rowan Kerr, making them one of the most successful Ontario clubs of the weekend.

KWDC & ONDC

KWDC’s Lauren Barlock and Adele Melamud earned multiple podium finishes, while ONDC’s Julia Read was consistently among the medal contenders in Girls A and won Mixed 3m Synchro alongside Simon Lepage.
