Dive Ontario members approved new By-Laws at a Special General Meeting held April 27, 2023. These new By-Laws are in compliance with the Ontario Not-for-profit Corporations Act (ONCA).
While the By-Laws come into effect immediately, there will be no changes to the Board structure or committees until the 2023 Annual General Meeting in the fall. The new By-Laws can be accessed here.
Organizations have until Oct. 18, 2024 to comply with ONCA.
