London, ON – The 2021 Dive Ontario Winter Provincials has come to a close. Eight clubs from across the province came out to compete for the first time since March of 2020. After numerous virtual workouts and competitions, it was great to see our Ontario divers back in the pool. We want to extend our thanks to the City of London, the Canada Games Aquatic Centre staff, and Forest City Diving Club for hosting such a successful event.

“FCDC was honoured to host the first in person meet in almost two years. It was wonderful to see the happy smiling divers in the pool again” – Jenn Durack, FCDC President

Dive Ontario wants to recognize Kathryn Grant for achieving a provincial record in the Women’s A – 1m. She scored an astonishing 451.10, which surpassed Molly Carson’s 438.8 set in 2016. Congratulations Kathryn!

“We achieved what we set out to accomplish at the Winter Provincials. After such a long break from diving due to the pandemic, our divers finally got back in the pool. It was great to see the passion these athletes have for the sport. I want to give a special thank you to the host city of London, Forest City Diving Club’s staff and volunteers, and all of the Clubs and their coaches. It could not have been done without you.” – Nathan Abdelnour, Executive Director
