It is with profound sadness that Dive Ontario shares the news that one of our most beloved divers, CJ Moore, has recently passed away in a tragic accident.

A long time diver for the Kitchener-Waterloo Dive Club, CJ was an incredibly talented athlete who had a passion for diving. Over the years of his diving career, CJ competed at the national and international level and always proudly represented both his province and country. Those of us who knew CJ will remember him as being a kind soul who was both funny and smart. CJ had a zest for life that was infectious and he was a great role model for the younger divers he came into contact with on a daily basis. In addition to diving, CJ was pursuing a biomedical engineering degree and he had a very bright future ahead of him. Our hearts and our prayers go out to his parents, Janice and Charlie Moore, his long term coach, Rob Wells, and to all of those who knew and loved CJ. He will be greatly missed.
